Lipstick Vogue Ordering Info & Policies

Payment Types:

We accept PayPal, Google Checkout, and Check or Money Order. When you order with PayPal or Google Checkout, you will stay on our site through a SSL (Secured) connection through the checkout process and be transferred to a secure checkout page on PayPal or Google Checkout. You will finish your transaction there and receive a confirmation email shortly.

For Check or Money Orders, you can simply select the “check or money order” option when you are checking out. Print out your order page and email it along with your check or money order to: Lipstick Vogue P.O. Box 3274, Wrightwood, CA 92397. Like all orders, your order will ship within 3-5 days for in-stock items and 7-14 for clothing items after we receive your cleared payment.

We currently do not accept other forms of payment such as credit cards. Registering through PayPal or Google Checkout is quick and easy, and also one of the most secure ways to shop online.

Availability:

Unless otherwise noted, all of our items are made at the time you order. Orders will generally ship in 7-14 days from time of purchase. If you need an item rush delivered, please contact us ahead of time to see what our current wait time is on processing your item. Our items can take as long as 3-6 weeks if we are back ordered, fabric is back ordered, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you of any delays over the typical 7-14 days. Custom orders are usually processed in 8-18 days, but can also take as long as 3-6 weeks during our busy times.

If you need an item for a special event please notify us of the time you need it by so that we can plan accordingly. Certain rush orders may cost extra.

Shipping:

We generally ship via USPS. If you would like us to ship with a different carrier like UPS, FedEx, or DHL, please let us know in your notes when ordering. We now ship with delivery confirmation and/or insurance.

International Shipping:

Please select your country for appropriate shipping charges. If your country is not listed, please contact us for shipping price.

Return Policy:

If you need a different size, we’ll be happy to exchange your size for a larger or smaller size. Because our items can be considered special occasion, we currently do not accept returns for cash except for in certain unusual cases. Please be careful to check the size chart to make sure you have selected the right size before placing your order. If your item is faulty from manufacturer’s defects, or similar reasons we will be glad to exchange it for a new one or repair it.
Please note: Custom orders are made to your measurements and can’t be returned. If your custom item doesn’t fit, you may send it back to be tailored again, or remade until it fits. We have only had two custom orders that didn’t fit the first time, in our 4 years of sewing, so as long as we get good measurements from you, we can make a properly fitting custom piece.
We cannot be held responsible for costs and time delays on custom orders that we have made to measurements specified, but that do not fit. Please read the notes on our size chart carefully about how to measure, and where to measure. We will make the dress to those measurements with a small ease.
If you don’t know how to measure yourself, go to a tailor (often at most dry cleaner’s) and have them measure you.

FAQs…

How do I determine a good fit for an online order?

Take a look at our size chart. Our sizes aren’t based on vintage sizing, it was too confusing to customers. Our sizes are similar to modern-day misses. If you are between sizes, go up a size, our fashions are made of non-stretch fabrics. We are always happy to exchange unworn merchandise for the next size up or down.

How do I order without a credit card or PayPal account?

You can select “check or money order” in the shopping cart. It will take your order and your address and send it to us. When we receive your payment via snail mail, we will send out your order.

Where is Lipstick Vogue located?

We are located in Wrightwood, California and all orders currently ship from there. We *Do Not* have a physical store here, though, our line is available in other Southern California locations.

I want something in a different fabric, can I do that?

Yes! Take a look at our custom orders section to see all the fabric swatches and different kinds of custom orders we do! Including: plus sizes, petite sizes, maternity sizes, custom fabrics, one-of-a-kind fabrics, and even entirely custom garments for special occasions!

I see most of your dresses take several days to ship, why is that? Can I expedite my order?

As mentioned in our availability, unless otherwise noted all our items are made-to-order and are not ready to ship. Limited edition, custom, and haute-couture items are always made to order and usually take 7-14 days. If you need the item for a special event, please allow time to receive your item and be sure it fits. Expedited shipping will cost extra.

Can I keep updated with Lipstick Vogue?

Yes! Register with us and you will be automatically notified with important updates if you wish.

I want to try on a dress before buying it, how can I do this?

You can always order closest to your size and exchange it for another size. We are more than happy to do such an exchange. If you are concerned about fit, consider ordering a custom size and we will make it to your exact measurements.

I want to be on your customers page! What do I do?

We’d love to put you on our customer’s page! Submit a photo of yourself with your item (and a comment, if you’d like) and we’ll put you up a.s.a.p.!

I love your website, who did it?

Lipstick Vogue’s website was created and maintained by KaelaDesign.com

I want to order wholesale from you, how do I do so?

Unfortunately, we no longer offer wholesale. We can’t reliably control the quality of wholesale dresses to the level of our individually-made dresses and feel it doesn’t reflect the nature of the garments and Lipstick Vogue’s vision.
